bu.fi Terms & Conditions

Welcome to bu.fi (“Platform”), developed and managed by Prayas – The Innovator’s Society, a subsidiary of Sahikadam Foundation, a non-profit organization registered under CIN: U88900UP2025NPL226329 (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Platform at bu.fi.prayas.tech, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. 🏢 Who We Are
bu.fi is a productivity and communication platform designed for organizations of all sizes. It is operated by Prayas – The Innovator’s Society, a youth-led innovation initiative under the Sahikadam Foundation.
- Role-based access control
- Team-wide broadcasting
- Attendance tracking (manual and RFID-based)
- Real-time organizational data & activity mapping
2. 👥 Accounts & Eligibility
- You must register an account to use core features.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have appropriate consent.
- You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your login credentials.
3. 💳 Pricing & Payment
- ₹10/user/month (monthly) or ₹120/user/year (annual).
- All payments are billed in INR.
- Refunds, if applicable, will follow our internal refund handling process.
4. 🧾 Legal Entity & Oversight
- Platform Developer: Prayas – The Innovator’s Society
- Parent Organization: Sahikadam Foundation (CIN: U88900UP2025NPL226329)
- All legal responsibilities, governance, and data ownership fall under Sahikadam Foundation.
5. 🔒 Privacy & Data Collection
- We collect and store only essential data to operate the service: user identifiers, organizational roles, attendance logs, communication metadata.
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Data is handled in accordance with Indian data protection laws.

6. 🚫 User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Harass or impersonate others
- Interfere with server integrity or security
- Upload harmful or malicious content
7. 📉 Limitations of Liability
- The Platform is provided “as is.” Sahikadam Foundation and its subsidiaries disclaim all warranties including availability, uptime, and fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for indirect damages including data loss or downtime exceeding the amount paid in the last 12 months.
8. 🧾 Intellectual Property
All content, features, and software are property of Sahikadam Foundation or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the service or its code without permission.
9. ⚖️ Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
- Disputes shall be resolved via arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. 🔄 Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified via platform alerts or email. Continued use implies acceptance.
